Martina Saitlová Superlativ absolutní ve španělštině s přihlédnutím k situaci v češtině Absolute Superlative in Spanish with Reference to Czech Praha 2017 Vedoucí práce: PhDr. Dana Kratochvílová, Ph.D Abstract (in English) This thesis deals with the issue of the absolute superlative in Spanish language and describes how the absolute superlative is used and the possible ways of translation into the Czech language. Theoretical part of this paper generally discusses adjectives, the graduation of adjectives and the absolute superlatives in Spanish and Czech. The theoretical part of this work is based on the language theories of the Spanish Royal Academy and the Spanish and Czech linguists who are devoted to this topic. The aim of this work is to outline the use of the absolute superlative in Spanish and to present possible variants of its translation into Czech, because in the Czech language system the absolute superlative is absent. The absolute superlative was analyzed in this work by using data in the Corpes XXI, single-lane corpus, and in the InterCorp, parallel corpus. Terms expressing superlatives in texts of tourism

The aim of this thesis is to clarify and to find the means of how can be the superlative expressed in the texts of tourism and also to determine their productivity in them. All the texts were selected by the author of this thesis. Superlatives are closer specified, described, classified and deeper discussed in the theoretical part. The practical part is dedicated to the productivity and division into the groups identified in the theoretical part. In conclusion we have an analysis of all types of superlatives, their comparison and frequency.
